Trusted chiropractic care for Missouri City
About 18 miles (30-40 minutes) from our Galleria-area office
Missouri City spreads across a good stretch of northern Fort Bend County, and for driving purposes it is really two places. Quail Valley and the older northern sections sit close to Highway 6 and US-59. Sienna, out to the south, leans on the Fort Bend Parkway and adds roughly ten minutes. Either way it is about eighteen miles to our office at Westheimer and the I-610 West Loop, generally thirty to forty minutes.
We are honest about what that means: if you never come into Houston, somewhere closer to home may serve you better. But a great many Missouri City residents already work in Uptown, the Galleria or Greenway Plaza, and for them our office is minutes from the desk rather than a second trip across the county.
The commute is also frequently the reason people are in pain. An hour or more a day holding the lumbar spine in one loaded position, then a workday of more sitting on top of it, produces a recognizable cluster: low-back pain that arrives every afternoon, tight hips, sciatica, and a real share of disc injuries. Highway 6 and US-59 produce their share of crashes too, and whiplash usually announces itself a couple of days afterwards rather than at the scene. With golf at Quail Valley and Sienna, we also see the shoulder and rotator-cuff pattern that rotational sport creates.
Dr. Francis Ajayi examines before treating and explains what he finds in plain language. Where the spine needs motion and support that means chiropractic adjustments, physiotherapy and often massage therapy. Where a disc is genuinely involved, spinal decompression and flexion-distraction are non-surgical options worth understanding first. After a collision, auto-accident care covers both the treatment and the documentation.

Why Missouri City chooses Wellcare Chiropractic And Rehabilitation Clinic
Missouri City is genuinely two places for driving purposes. Quail Valley and the older northern sections sit close to Highway 6 and US-59 and have the shorter run in. Sienna, out to the south, is better served by the Fort Bend Parkway and adds ten minutes or so. Both come to about eighteen miles and thirty to forty minutes to our office, and most of our Fort Bend patients schedule around a workday in Houston rather than making a separate trip.
What that commute does to a spine is the reason many of them are here in the first place. An hour or more a day of loaded sitting, followed by a workday of more sitting, produces a very consistent pattern: a low back that aches by mid-afternoon, tight hips, and in a fair number of cases genuine disc irritation with pain running down a leg. US-59 and Highway 6 also generate collisions. Dr. Francis Ajayi examines thoroughly and, where a disc is genuinely involved, will talk through non-surgical options before surgery becomes the conversation.
What we help with
Common reasons Missouri City patients come in
Low-back pain from the commute
An hour a day of loaded sitting is a real mechanical cause, not a minor one, and it responds well to care.
Learn more →Sciatica and radiating leg pain
Burning or shooting pain down the leg after long periods of sitting is among the most common things we see from Fort Bend.
Learn more →Disc injuries and bulges
Where a disc is truly involved, non-surgical care is worth understanding before a surgical consult.
Learn more →Hip and pelvic tightness
Long sitting shortens the hip flexors, which changes how much work the low back has to do.
Learn more →Shoulder pain from golf
Quail Valley and Sienna both have golf. Rotational sport loads the shoulder and mid-back in a predictable way.
Learn more →Whiplash after a collision
Neck injuries from a crash on Highway 6 or US-59 often surface two or three days later, not at the scene.

Missouri City chiropractic FAQs
How far is your office from Missouri City?+
About eighteen miles. Fort Bend Parkway or Highway 6 north to US-59, then the I-610 West Loop north to the Westheimer exit. Plan on 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic and which part of the city you start from.
Is it shorter from Quail Valley or from Sienna?+
Quail Valley and the northern sections sit closer to Highway 6 and US-59, so they have the shorter run. Sienna is further south and typically adds around ten minutes via the Fort Bend Parkway.
That is a real drive. Is it worth it?+
It depends on you. If you already work in Houston — Uptown, the Galleria, Greenway Plaza — we are minutes from your desk and easy to fit into a workday. If you never come into town, a chiropractor closer to home may simply be more practical, and we would rather say that plainly.
I was in a wreck on 59. What should I do?+
Get examined even if you feel mostly fine. Soft-tissue and neck injuries routinely appear a couple of days after a collision. We assess the injury and document what we find.
Do I need a referral to book?+
No referral is needed to schedule with us. Call or book online, and our front desk will help if your insurance plan has its own referral requirement.
