Trusted chiropractic care for Katy
About 26 miles (35-55 minutes) east from our Galleria-area office
Katy is the furthest community we serve, and we would rather be direct about that than sell you a drive you do not need. Roughly twenty-six miles and thirty-five to fifty-five minutes, depending on the hour and the route. If your days stay in Katy, there are good chiropractors far closer to your door.
There is one specific reason Katy belongs on this list: a very large number of residents commute east every single day — to the Energy Corridor, Westchase, downtown or Uptown itself. If your work already brings you to this side of town, our office at the northwest corner of Westheimer and the I-610 West Loop is a few minutes from your desk. A visit becomes part of a workday rather than a second forty-minute trip.
Route depends on where you start. Cinco Ranch and south Katy often move better on the Westpark Tollway heading toward Uptown; Old Katy and anything north of the freeway usually do better on I-10, where the managed lanes can save ten to fifteen minutes at peak.
That commute is also the most common reason Katy patients are in pain. Fifty minutes each way is well over ninety minutes a day with the lumbar spine held in one loaded position, and the workday piles more sitting on top. The pattern is consistent: low-back pain, sciatica, neck pain from driving and desk posture reinforcing each other, and a meaningful number of genuine disc injuries. I-10 also produces a great many collisions, and whiplash has a habit of showing up two or three days afterwards. With Katy’s demanding school sports programs, we also see athletic balance and overuse problems in student athletes.
Dr. Francis Ajayi examines before treating and explains what he finds in plain English. That may mean chiropractic adjustments and physiotherapy; spinal decompression or flexion-distraction where a disc is genuinely part of the picture; athlete care for a student athlete mid-season; or auto-accident care covering both treatment and documentation after a crash.

Why Katy chooses Wellcare Chiropractic And Rehabilitation Clinic
Let us be straight with you: at roughly twenty-six miles and thirty-five to fifty-five minutes, Katy is the furthest community we serve, and if your days stay in Katy there are good chiropractors much closer to your door. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise. Katy is on this list for one specific reason — an enormous number of residents commute east every day, to the Energy Corridor, Westchase, downtown or Uptown itself. If your work already brings you to this side of town, our office at Westheimer and the West Loop is a few minutes from your desk rather than a second trip.
That commute is also the single most common reason Katy patients end up in our office. Fifty minutes each way means well over an hour and a half a day with the lumbar spine held in one loaded position, and then the workday adds more sitting. The result is very predictable: low-back pain, tight hips, radiating leg pain, and a meaningful number of genuine disc problems. I-10 also produces a lot of collisions. Dr. Francis Ajayi examines thoroughly, explains the findings, and where a disc is truly involved will talk through non-surgical options before surgery becomes the conversation.
What we help with
Common reasons Katy patients come in
Low-back pain from a long commute
Ninety minutes a day of loaded sitting is a serious mechanical load, and it responds well to the right care.
Learn more →Sciatica and radiating leg pain
Burning or shooting pain down the leg after long stretches of sitting is the classic commuter presentation.
Learn more →Disc injuries and bulges
Where a disc is genuinely involved, non-surgical care is worth understanding before a surgical consult.
Learn more →Neck pain and stiffness
Driving posture and desk posture reinforce each other. Restoring cervical motion is what interrupts the cycle.
Learn more →Whiplash after a freeway collision
I-10 generates its share of crashes, and neck injuries often surface days later rather than at the scene.
Learn more →Student-athlete strains
Katy's sports programs are demanding. Overuse and strain problems respond best before they force time off.

Katy chiropractic FAQs
How far is your office from Katy?+
About twenty-six miles. I-10 east or the Westpark Tollway east, then the I-610 West Loop south to the Westheimer exit. Realistically 35 to 55 minutes depending on the hour and the route.
Honestly, should I just find someone in Katy?+
If your days stay in Katy, quite possibly yes, and we would rather tell you that. Where we make sense is if you already commute east for work — then we are minutes from your desk and a visit fits into a workday instead of adding a trip.
Which route is faster, I-10 or Westpark?+
It depends where in Katy you start. Cinco Ranch and south Katy often do better on the Westpark Tollway toward Uptown; Old Katy and north of the freeway are usually better on I-10, and the managed lanes can save ten to fifteen minutes at peak.
Can you schedule around a workday in the Galleria?+
That is how nearly all of our Katy patients do it. Tell us your working pattern when you book and we will fit the visits around it.
I was in a wreck on I-10. What should I do?+
Get examined even if you feel mostly fine. Soft-tissue and neck injuries commonly appear two or three days after a collision. We assess the injury and document our findings.
Do I need a referral to book?+
No referral is needed to schedule with us. Call or book online, and our front desk will help if your insurance plan has its own referral requirement.
